confusion

 

33 For God is not the author of confusion [tumult, unquietness], but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (I Corinthians 14:33)

 

This verse, and also James 3:16 that will be discussed below, is used by the pastoral matriarchy to justify and enforce three things: 1) to prevent exposing people to truth that could cause disruptions to the peaceful flock, 2) to give individual believers a perfectly worded excuse to reject or not try to contemplate deeper truth because “I am so confused,” which is really a way of giving a power punch without saying it out loud that “therefore, it must not be of God,” and 3) to prevent dispensing of deeper truth out of fear of “confusing” new believers. The words “confusion” and “peace” are given code word power by the pastoral matriarchy and have been stripped of their intent and meaning in order to justify giving messages that are benign of substance and to assure to themselves and others that they are not messengers of anything other than “peace”. The kind of peace that they are promoting is soulish, get along kind of peace, which is inclusiveness, acceptability, and does not ask questions. Therefore, anyone who does or says anything that “disturbs the peace” is a red flag to the pastoral matriarchy and the congregation is warned, “This is not of God, run!”

 

The word “confusion” in I Corinthians 14:33 is a feminine noun that is from a root adjective that means “unstable”. So, the word “confusion” refers to “tumult, unquietness” and is related to environments where envying and strife exist, as is explained in James 3:15-16, which uses the same word for “confusion” as I Corinthians 14:33 does.

 

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual [soulish], devilish [demonic]. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion [tumult, unquietness] and every evil work. (James 3:15-16)

 

The I Corinthians 14:33 verse is given in the context of Paul talking about parameters of how we are to conduct ourselves in church while speaking in tongues, declaring revelation, or sharing prophetic words. Following verse 33, I Corinthians 14:34 gives the exhortation for “your women” to “keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.” This demonstrates that when the soul refuses to submit to the spirit, in any person, whether they are male or female, tumult and instability reign, and regression occurs rather than growth or edification of the church. The soul is admonished to be quiet in the churches in order to prevent “confusion [tumult, unquietness].”

 

When doing a word study of the word “peace” that is in I Corinthians 14:33, it has the connotation of being in agreement or approval with someone enough to reside with them. It also has the connotation of having a clear conscience to move forward after a confrontational event with our Lord, like His coming on earth or being healed by Him. And that is why it is also the same word that Jesus uses twice in the following verse:

 

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. (Matthew 10:34)

 

Peace with Him is what we are to seek. It means we are in agreement with Him and His will; and that we are without tumult (confusion) in our mind, heart, or emotions, which arises from envying and strife. Let us see what God says about confusion and who and what it really pertains to:

 

1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: 2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. (Isaiah 30:1-3)

 

These are people who have been saved and refuse to move forward. They have partaken of His Salvation, have been delivered from serving the enemy, and have been given the provision to cross the Jordan, yet they are unwilling to operate in Him when He says, “Now it is time for you to do works greater than these through Me and in My strength.”

 

To trust in the shadow of Egypt is to live under the perverted teaching of the Girgashite* spirit within the pastoral matriarchy. The person says, “It is enough that I am saved, do not ask me to do anything more. It is so confusing to expect me to do more. I am complete in Jesus. That means complete. I do not have to do anything big or different again. I know what God can do, so He should continue on and be willing to carry me all the time, like the way He did when I was a baby. And look, Pharaoh says that he is willing to take me in.” Confusion does not come from God. It comes out of the rebellious heart that refuses to grow.

 

It seems to be much safer to ignore God if we stick together in a group. It makes people think that God surely is not going to be harsh on all of us, maybe one or two of the worst of us, but surely not all of us. This allows us to keep comparisons going among ourselves and also gives a sense of safety when we evaluate ourselves as in better standing with God than that other guy. This is a proof that we are in confusion, because our focus resorts to looking and comparing ourselves to “the other guy.”

 

So, how does this look in the spirit realm? Everyone is given a new bicycle by God. It is white; it is a perfect fit for our particular body type. It is “complete” for us to go. In the pastoral matriarchal church, it is considered boastful if you talk about your bike, and it is definitely forbidden to bring it where anyone could see it, and it is thoroughly blasphemous to ever mention that you are learning to ride your bike, and from the pit of confusion if you actually ride your bike and have been seen doing so. The bike must be put in your garage; and if you do not have somewhere to put it, the pastor is willing to store it for you. The Girgashite teachers and the Canaanite pastors talk a lot about your bike at first, like it is too dangerous to learn because there are falls ahead and potential knocked out teeth, bruising, and scrapes that could leave scars. Therefore, confirming that it was never intended for everyone to actually learn to ride their bicycle at the time they were given it, at the time they received His salvation. On special occasions, guests from out of town bring in painted black bicycles with bugle horns and ribbons. They can do all kinds of entertaining things like wheelies and bouncing on the tires because they are experts. As time goes by, less and less is mentioned about your bike. It is in the garage where the webs have made their homes in the spokes, moths have eaten away the seat, and the workings are rusted. Some people have their bike stolen right off the bat when they set it out without a lock. It may briefly cross their mind, “Does that mean it had value enough for someone to steal?” The pastors and teachers are fine with this because now there will be no confusion about bringing that subject up again. “Hey, isn’t this your weekend to greet people at the door? Let’s be on the lookout for any new faces. And we’ll just quietly move them to the back if they cause confusion and ask questions about bicycles. We do not want heresy and division to harm our regulars.”

 

God does not give us information that we are not responsible for, which is powerful and valuable when we stop and consider that He gives us opportunities to absorb and incorporate more and more of Him into our thoughts and lives. This is the reason why some people, often with furrowed brow, fingers rubbing their temple to display that their head is hurting while adding the proper amount of eye squint, pull out the “I am so confused” card. The information means change and sometimes it is inconvenient. Children typically do not act this way unless they witness it from their parents and see that it can be a pretty effective way of ditching responsibility for something that they really do not want to do or hear something that they do not want to be accountable for.

 

The threat of bringing in “confusion” or talking about anything “confusing” has been a reliable tool that Canaanite pastors (Pharisees) and Girgashite teachers (Sadducees) use to enforce Jebusite* censorship on themselves and on others. The crown jewel that Jebusites use is always the same mantra: “it is for the children.” The censorship is implemented so that new believers do not get confused or get into any traps that are “out there,” which satan has ready to go and could spring at any time. The enemy is consistent. Whenever we hear the words of something being put into place or accepted “for the children,” we know it is directly connected to satan’s army.

 

How does God deal with literal and spiritual children? There are many passages that talk about growing, growth, and children, including I John. But let us look at how God works with and relates to children, or young believers. The answer is: easily. If we start with the Israelites and Moses, there was no censorship of the commandments. Aaron did not rip the tablets out of Moses’ hand and say, “We need to see if there is anything in here that will offend or confuse the children. I see the word ‘adultery’, that will be too difficult to explain. And this one about One God won’t work. What if a stranger comes to visit and thinks we are not loving people? Yes, that needs to also go; and well, this other one is too complicated.” You can see how the thinking gets and has gotten out of control. It is applied today, and the enemy is satisfied.

 

The Israelite children went to the meetings held by Moses and attended His announcements. They saw the manna and picked it up and ate it. They were not removed. And yes, they crossed over the dry land just like the adults and animals did. When we fast forward to Jesus, we hear about the following account:

 

13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. (Mark 10:13-16)

 

This account of what Jesus spoke and did is in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. It is stomach turning how the pastoral matriarchy uses this passage to promote Jesus as a gentle santa figure or making it appear that He was making a special “story time” moment for children, even though He just got finished saying that everyone needs to have the attitude of a child in order to receive the kingdom of God. He made it clear to the disciples to not forbid them to come to Him, which meant now and in the future. And just as with the Israelites, the children were also in the crowds that came to hear Jesus speak and when He did His miracles. He did not shave off or modify anything He spoke. In addition, it is pretty clear that most everyone got bits and pieces of what He was saying. No one was able to absorb and understand everything He said every time He spoke. No one fully understood His actions either. Hmm, this sounds exactly what it is like when we pick up the Bible and read today. No matter how ‘mature’ we think we are, we get some of it, we get more of it, and then we see even more of what He meant. At no time in His ministry did He allow anyone to modify the depth of His Word for any reason.

 

Censorship is a hot topic today. When something is manifested on earth and invades the population of the earth, it is reflective of what is being exposed in the spiritual realm. Censorship has already been going on in a highly controlled fashion within the church, in both the protestant and catholic sects. Enough labour in the kingdom of God has allowed it to become openly manifested and it is revealed that indeed censorship has been going on for a very long time. Censorship is displeasing to God and is a spin-off of the Jebusite “touch not; taste not; handle not” that are the “commandments and doctrines of men” described and pointed out in Colossians 2:20-23. The gravity of how much we are censored, along with the information about our personal lives being stored, is overwhelming and quite evil. Censorship controls how and if information is dispensed. It is used to control thoughts and actions, which is what the pastoral matriarchal system has been doing while harvesting eternal calls. It uses the code phrase “the new believer” and “it must be peaceable” as cloaks to disguise what is actually happening, which is stalemating independent growth outside the control of its leadership. The censorship has slowly choked out not only the Word of God, but also the Spirit of God.

 

Because the pastoral matriarchal system has been implementing censorship for such an extended time, reaching back to when Scripture was not available to the “common man,” it is a good idea to see what this looks like in the spirit realm. Daily life must be inserted to re-connect our common sense. A mom has a baby. She breastfeeds or bottle-feeds. The baby is fine with this. The baby grows and as he grows he graduates to soft foods, which he is also fine with. And as the infant continues on into toddlerhood, he gets to have more solid foods and can try bits and pieces of what his parents are having, and he is fine with that. The big catch to all of this is that the baby, infant, and then toddler has been watching the parents eat all along. The parents did not stop eating solids once the baby arrived and switch over to a milk only diet. The child wasn’t watching his parents eat and thinking, “I am so confused.” And the parents would not be easily convinced if someone suggested, “You know, for your child to grow up in an emotionally stable peaceful environment and for his mind to not be confused, it is necessary for you also to be on a milk diet. Don’t you love your child and care that he could grow up one day and choke on a piece of solid food? There is a real chance of that happening. So everyone needs to be on a milk diet, always. Here is a pamphlet containing what we call ‘extra helps’.” The parents read in small print: In addition, we suggest Cain’s strawberry milk to facilitate sugar rushes, Balaam’s high caffeinated chocolate milk to curb solid food cravings, and Korah’s 3 day old milk to dry up tears and encourage appreciation for milk diet. Small quantities of rose milk will be imported for recognized holidays and milk diet promotions. Milk diet will be enforced. Penalties may apply. (Jude verse 11) When a child’s awareness grows and he understands that his parents are eating something different, he is less interested in milk and wants to eat what they are eating, and this is good.

 

26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him [it]. (I John 2:26-27)

 

Remember the white bicycle that was mentioned earlier, the One that we are all given? When we are learning to ride, it is pretty nice when someone, an anointed one, is willing to run along the side of us or has their hand on the back of the seat to help keep our balance as we learn how to find that place of balance on our own. Sometimes another person suggests a smoother terrain like staying on a dirt road or out of traffic. Someone else can be very handy with tools and knows how to lube the moving parts and keep the bike in good working condition. It is great fun for the one doing the helping. They have been there, just like many before us and many after us have and will “be there.” Some do not have a person to help them find their balance; and for these, God gives them the way to teach themselves, mainly by trial and error. Others may have a person shout out a window to them, “start on a hill!” or “start with one foot on the ground and push down on the pedal with the other foot.”

 

When we find our balance to ride our first bicycle, a Joy comes that is God given. And if there was an “anointed one” to help, they also participate in the Joy if they served you without envying or strife. We get stronger and go further distances and become capable of longer trips. We then are exposed to more than just the road we learned on. We are not confused. We know there is much more to learn and places to go. We know that we serve an eternal God that has and will continue to teach us well.
