What is happening now
March 19, 2019

Below are brief comments about what is happening now in relation to the larger scope of things and where we are in chronological time. It includes a condensed outline of the Trinity with focused times of the manifestation of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Lord, and the Holy Spirit to man on earth. In addition, a current work of God is touched upon.

First earth and heaven passing away

It is good to know where we are in time and what is happening. It opens our eyes to God’s ways and also to the work of others in the Kingdom of God. May your eyes be opened; may your heart be enriched by His Words. May joy be our companion as we serve our Great God.

The present earth and heavens is described in Scripture; and Scripture tells us what will become of them. The destruction of the old and the construction of the new are happening now.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. (Hebrews 1:10-12)

17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind [come upon the heart]. (Isaiah 65:17)

13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (II Peter 3:13-14)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (The Revelation 21:1)

The unrighteous host of heaven and the evil spirits of men will fall from heaven and be consumed, which has begun already and is the work of His Mighty warriors, beginning with our Lord Jesus Christ; and then the current earth and heavens will be rolled up as a scroll as spoken in Hebrews 1:12 above, and also in Isaiah 34 and The Revelation 6.

4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. (Isaiah 34:4)

13 And the [unrighteous] stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (The Revelation 6:13-17)

The new Jerusalem and its city walls are part of and in the Kingdom of God. They have been and are currently being constructed in the heavens, just as Jesus spoke it would occur once He had ascended and the Holy Spirit descended.

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In my Father's house are many dwelling places: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto Him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known Me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him. (John 14:1-7)

In John 14:2, “many dwelling places” or “many abodes” is the correct translation, not the “many mansions” that the pastoral church speaks of. In eternity there are different levels of interest in God, just the way it is on earth now. Most Christians will spend their eternity outside of the Kingdom of God, outside of the city wall. Jesus’ descriptions of how the Kingdom of God is, is how it is. God does not and will not override our free choice and the desires of our heart, including our eternal choices we make before we die. Individuals are not going to all of a sudden be in fellowship with Him just because they are saved from hell and spend their eternity in heaven. It is good to reread all that is spoken in Scripture about the Kingdom of God. Things do not get readjusted once we are in heaven, the house.

7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building. (I Kings 6:7)

Notice that the stones were worked on outside of the house. Matthew 24 and Matthew 25 are now.

Three page folded pamphlet

A highlighted manifestation of each member of the Trinity can be looked at as a three page folded pamphlet. All three members of the Trinity are always seen on the three pages and the two folds of the pamphlet; however, each page has a concentrated manifestation of one member and His function on earth. We often quote “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8). However, it is also spoken of God the Father:

4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 And hath made us kings [a kingdom] and priests unto God and his Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (The Revelation 1:4-6)

The above verses reiterate the Trinity.

Yesterday, God the Father manifested

Yesterday, God the Father was manifested and highlighted to man on earth. His manifestation to man started from the time Adam was created, as is also exemplified in the book of Job. Creation itself is a manifestation of God (Psalm 19).

20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:20)

Even though we see the Trinity displayed in Genesis through The Revelation, the books of Genesis through Malachi highlight the manifestation of God the Father to man the most. The supposed “old testament” is a foundation of law, knowledge, righteousness, holiness, and His covenants. His ways and acts are displayed to man.

7 He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel. (Psalm 103:7)

In other words, God the Father is manifested the strongest on the first page of the three page chronological pamphlet of time. The focus is heavy on wisdom, foundations, lines, boundaries, judgements, and mysteries spoken and then closed up. Not only are His wondrous works seen, but we are allowed to see His heart, His plans, His labour, and even His soul. Above all, He speaks of believing in Him and trusting in His salvation (Psalm 78:22). In the first page of the pamphlet, descriptive accounts are foreshadowed of the sacrifice and labour given to bring us eternal salvation. It is innumerable to list or describe the manifestation of God the Father to man.

The law embodied God’s knowledge and truth (Romans 2:20). Jesus and Paul talked extensively about those who knew the law and prophets yet had “taken away the key to knowledge” from it while hindering those who wanted to enter into it (Luke 11:52). We are still admonished to “walk in” God’s Ways.

16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. (Deuteronomy 30:16)

9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, as He hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in His ways. (Deuteronomy 28:9)

8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring [walking or going] men, though foolish, shall not err therein. (Isaiah 35:8)

first fold:

The two folds of the three page pamphlet can be thought of as the time of transition from one manifestation to the next. The first fold between the first page and the second page is the transition from the highlighted focus on God the Father to the highlighted focus on Jesus Christ. It was a time to consolidate and teach from the law and prophets of the past and enter into the “today”. The first fold’s work was completed by John the Baptist, who pointed man to Jesus Christ. Jesus said:

10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. 15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. (Matthew 11:10-15)

Today, Jesus Christ manifested in the flesh

Jesus Christ is the narrow gate. His Person not only gave the Way to God, but it is Him whom we walk in when we enter the narrow gate. His manifestation to man on earth is the second page of the three page pamphlet. In studying Jesus Christ as God in the flesh manifested to man, we can understand the Truth of the Trinity, the Truth of salvation, and the template beginnings for our walk in the “today”.

9 For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9)

14 In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: 17 And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. (Colossians 1:14-20)

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 And hath made us kings [a kingdom] and priests unto God and his Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (The Revelation 1:5-6)

We also see a transition on the second page from God’s people no longer being just those who were willing to come into and become a part of the children of Israel, but extended as Christian individuals who are spread out in the nations. Israel, a picture of the Church, became in the “today” for anyone who believes in the salvation of God the Father through Jesus Christ.

Just as God the Father’s manifestation of Himself on earth to man is innumerable, Jesus Christ’s manifestation is the same, as spoken so perfectly by John:

24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. 25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. (John 21:24-25)

second fold:

The second fold is the transition from today to forever, which is the manifestation of Jesus Christ in the flesh to the manifestation of the Holy Spirit manifesting God’s Spirit in us. The second fold’s work was completed by John, the writer of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, who pointed us to the seven Spirits of God, the Holy Spirit.

[Both men who completed the chronological folds between the three manifestations of the LORD to man on earth were named “John”. The name in Greek means, “Jehovah is a gracious giver” and comes from its Hebrew origin, Johanan, which means, “Jehovah has graced.” It is good to reflect on them: John the Baptist, who rejoiced in his mother’s womb; and John the disciple, who rested on Jesus’ chest. These two men need refreshed in our minds and hearts as servants and prophets to the Most High God and also to us. Father, may we see them as You see them. John’s last words in Scripture included a blessing of grace for all:

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (The Revelation 22:20-21)]

For ever, Holy Spirit manifesting God’s Spirit in us

The third page of the three page pamphlet can be thought of as the future happening now, but it is more accurate to think of it the way Scripture does, which is to say “for ever.” Recall: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8). We are now in the forever. During forever, the manifestation of the Holy Spirit occurs. And just as the Holy Spirit operated in Mary (Matthew 1:18-20) to produce the firstfruit, Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God operates in us to produce spiritual fruit. This is the reason why belief in the virgin birth is so important, not just because we believe that God performed the great miracle of Jesus’ conception.

The last book of the Bible is called The Revelation. It is the revelation, revealing, of Jesus Christ (The Revelation 1:1), which starts with the unfolding of the seven candlesticks that are ignited, lit, by the Holy Ghost, also called the Holy Spirit, beginning in 1:11 to the end of chapter 3. During the Holy Spirit’s manifestation in us, innumerable things are and will occur, just as was spoken of God the Father’s and Jesus Christ’s manifestations. Man will have understanding of the Holy Spirit’s work in us, unsealing and opening books and passages in Scripture has and will continue to occur, mysteries will be uncovered, and the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ will expand. The many passages in Scripture that have not been understood will be understood by the teaching and operation of the flowing water of the Holy Spirit.

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water39 (But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (John 7:37-39)

13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. (John 4:13-14)

1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing [therapy] of the nations. (The Revelation 22:1-2)

The river of water of life is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

To be filled with the living water does not mean just to be saved from hell, it means to go into eternal Life. During the manifestation of the Holy Ghost, we are to fill ourselves, lamps, with God’s Holy Spirit’s prophetic oil as spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 25:1-13 about the ten virgins.

20 And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn [to ascend up] always. (Exodus 27:20)

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. (The Revelation 14:4)

Yesterday, the manifestation of God the Father reveals the Way to Him; today, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, manifests God as Truth; and the Holy Spirit’s manifestation is Jesus’ Life in us forever. May we live in this understanding: We can live and work in Life “forever” now having our oil lamps full with the Holy Spirit or live in the present “today” staying in the second fold. This option was also presented when Jesus came on earth. Those who refuse the “today” Truth, which was Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, stay in the first fold despite its completion with John the Baptist (Isaiah 40:3, Malachi 4:5-6, Matthew 11:14, Matthew 17:11-13, Luke 11:11-14, John 1:23).

same pattern (paradigm):

The first temple, house of God, relates to the manifestation of God the Father to man on earth. Nothing compared to the first Temple built by Solomon, a king, after his father did extensive preparation for the build. It was known by the world, just as all of the hosts in heaven, mankind, creatures in the water, in the air, and on earth know that God Is. This temple was besieged by the enemy because God’s people turned away from Him.

5 And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical [growing in magnificence], of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death. (I Chronicles 22:5)

When Jesus Christ was manifested on earth, He was rejected by the religious leaders to the point of hatred enough to seek His death. This was the same grave disappoint about the plain and simple foundation of the second temple overseen by Ezra. The religious men who had seen all the glory of the first house, which Solomon built, were grieved and wept in great sorrow. However, others had great joy in the foundation of the second temple, which spoke of the manifestation of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Jesus Christ is the foundation of the house of the LORD.

11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid. 12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: 13 So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off. (Ezra 3:11-13)

The manifestation of Jesus Christ as the Messiah was not acceptable in the religious men’s eyes. He was not to come as a foundation. He was supposed to come in a glorified state and manner. He was supposed to act like the King He is; this could not be the Way or Truth of God. The rejection of Jesus as God was later solidified when the completion of the Bible was written in the much simpler and plainer Greek language, confirming to them that He could not be the Messiah. The second, plainer temple that was built by Ezra was built in the midst of great opposition. It was a major disappointment to the elders, and it was also the same manner that Jesus was manifested on earth to man. The second, plainer temple was destroyed by man, just as Jesus was killed by man in great hatred. It was later understood God meant to dwell in us, as living tabernacles, and that is why it is spoken of as asking “Jesus into our hearts.”

6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. (Matthew 12:6)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

In the present day, which is now “forever”, the same occurrence has happened. The contaminated believers wanted Jesus to come back in grandeur, power, and dominion in the Truth of who He is: the descended, resurrected, and ascended Jesus Christ the LORD. They wanted Him to come back in His glorified state as the conqueror of all evil. No way could He come in the form of the Holy Ghost, working in His servants. No way could His Glory be manifested by and through people. They refuse the Holy Spirit’s full work in us, which leads us into His Life, not just to seal us into heaven from hell. In short, they wanted to extend the fold between the second and third page of chronological time, the same way the leaders in the temple did and are still waiting for their Messiah to come between the first and second page of chronological time. But time is already in the forever, the manifestation of God through the Holy Spirit has already come.

The rejection, of God being manifested on earth as the Holy Spirit in us, is solidified in religious minds when they conclude that such people are adding to or deleting from the Bible. No way could people unfold or speak new revelations and knowledge about God and Scripture, which is Jesus Christ, without adding to or deleting from the Bible. That is “blasphemy against the — oh, the Holy Ghost.” It is distasteful to them that the Holy Spirit would dispense God’s glory and open seals in the heavens through anyone other than the glorified Jesus or themselves. How could that glorify Jesus or God (The Revelation 21:22-24)? The corrupt church wanted THE Glory to come to them before entering into His Life, but God wants His Glory manifested through us, and in doing so, we enter into Life. Let us reread John’s writings.

The manifestation of the Holy Ghost has come in great opposition and oppression. The holy city is being built in the Kingdom of God now (The Revelation chapter 21), where there is no temple because “the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it” (The Revelation 21:22). It is and They are “everlasting” and will not be besieged or destroyed.

God’s mighty army

In these days, God’s mighty army is being raised up. This army will be faithful to God and will perform the work that God has called His people to do. They will labour unto God and in the fashion that follows Jesus Christ the Lord. They will be fed as mighty men of valour should be fed; and they will eat and be satisfied. Clarity and purpose will be in their eyes. They will be armed with proper gear; they will be taught how to use that gear by the Holy Spirit; and they will prevail.

18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 19 Holding faith, and a good [honest, virtuous] conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme. (I Timothy 1:18-20)

May you prevail valiantly through Almighty God (Psalm 60:12, 108:13) as you go into your eternal call.
