I gave you riches and wealth beyond all others. I gave you beauty that satisfies and satisfies again. Yet you did not grow; you did not mature; you did not offer thanksgiving to Me. You did not teach your children to honour Me or desire treasure greater than gold and silver. You feared your priests and pastors, and gave tribute to appease them in hopes of clearing and soothing your soul. You thrived for a short time and now little is left. Because you were unfaithful in little, you will not be faithful in more. I have given all eternal things of value to the stranger in your land, whom you have allocated to stay outside the camp. It is them who will bring prosperity back in your land because they know Me. Woe to you, Montana! what a price you have paid for your hardened hearts and unmoving minds. Thus are the words of Jehovah Shalom.

Below is the fourth stanza of “Be Thou My Vision”. According to library.timelesstruths.org, the words are attributed to Dallán Forgaill (c. 530 – 598 AD), an Irish Christian poet.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

The prophetic writer to the words above knew and knows the inheritance he sought. It is God Himself. We do not hear that kind of talk from our pulpits, but it is throughout the Word of God. It is Jehovah Shalom, the promise of God’s peace because we are His, and He is ours. We cannot say that He is ours until we have Shalom peace with Him in accordance to His Word, and have offered ourselves to Him as our tithe. And it is by His invitation that we cross the Jordan with a circumcised heart. This is not shalom because we have escaped hell for eternity after we receive salvation. It is Jehovah Shalom, the Person, and He declares peace in our heart as we go into the narrow gate of His judgements (Jeremiah 6:9-17; 8:11). It is beyond salvation, it is beyond the wilderness wandering, and it belongs to Joshua and Caleb.

The treasure state, working for another

Montana is beautiful. It is not only physically beautiful, but it was given great wealth of silver, gold, copper, lead, zinc, manganese and coal. As with most wealth given in the American soil, it was and is either bought up by the few family dynasties in the world or stolen by corrupt politicians, both quickly changing the names of their companies as often as is needed for restructuring into differently named corporations to maintain the profit of the assets with layer upon layers of concealment. This is the picture of what has happened to the Christians who have been mined for their eternal wealth and call by corrupt religious systems, both protestant and catholic sects. Jesus’ death and eliminating mediators are made null and void as Christians are taught that they should either be confessing in the confessionals or stay under the covering of their pastor. It is the way of Balaam that continues to teach their flocks “to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication,” while also keeping the doctrine that upholds the priest/pastor mediators (The Revelation 2:14-15).

11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. (Jude verse 11)

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight [war] against them with the sword of my mouth. (The Revelation 2:14-16)

23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: 24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: 25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. (Acts 15:23-29)

To eat things sacrificed to idols relates to spending our energy and time on short-lived activities in return for a temporary emotional gratification that we are doing something for man or God. Typically these activities involve serving the local church and its pastor to keep operations running in the status quo mentality. Fornication is done by commission and is also a sin of omission. When we fornicate against God, we give part of our desires, honour, substance, and praise to something else and in doing so we dilute and withhold from our personal relationship with Him. Fornication is putting our substance and attention where they do not belong while omitting or withholding from where they do belong. Fornication says, “I am free to give of myself in part and take for myself in part from anyone or anything I want.” These two activities, eating things sacrificed to idols and committing fornication, are rigorously taught by corrupt church leaders and used to sustain their existence and are under the umbrella of “good works” rather than the works and labour that is talked about in James 2 where our works yield to perfect faith (verse 22); and “by works a man is justified” (verses 21, 24, 25); and “faith without works is dead” (verses 17, 20, 26). The works and labour that the Bible talks about that are alive and bring eternal substance on earth and in heaven are directly connected to our relationship with God. See James 2:23 below.

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:17-26)

Abraham and Rahab operated in faith and works in the New Covenant, not in the old.

The doctrine of Nicolaitans, in The Revelation 2:15 above, which is denying Christ’s work and maintaining any and all types of priest/pastor mediators, is reinforced by anyone who is put in place as “knowing more” and as the go-betweens for their flock to God. The word “counselor” is often the cloaked message with the misuse of Proverbs 11:14, Proverbs 15:22, and Proverbs 24:6 to instill a degree of fear that if a person is “wise” they will seek counsel, otherwise they could miss a vital piece of information that only a more enlightened person could have. “Real” counsel is from the pastor or the priest, and it is now transitioned to gurus, mentors, and “experts” in any subject, as though God is too far off. Therefore, others must be sought to do the deciphering for our direction and how to handle our own relationship with God or with that “higher power.” However, Scripture tells us that God is very near to us, and is a ready help.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner [judge] of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:11-16)

1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

It took much for the enemy of man to convince us that we are to be passive observers of the spiritual realm while we are still alive. On the contrary, God uses our daily life to testify of our behavior and our willingness to be good stewards in the physical and the spiritual. He does not overlook our transactions with temporal wealth. It is revealed to the spiritual realm what is in our hearts as He gives us responsibility of earthly wealth. We are allowed to prove ourselves with man’s wealth and even the wealth that He gives directly into our own hands and life; and if we are faithful with temporal wealth, He is faithful to put spiritual responsibilities into our hands. Our acts are seen by God and in the heavens. This is real, this has always been real. Remember Rahab and Abraham. The evangelistic book of Luke describes what takes place in every man’s life. It is not a distant truth that may or may not apply. It is what happens to all of us. The judgements and evaluations are happening now, in the present day, in the moment. We want this. And it is good and righteous.

1 And He said also unto His disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. 2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward. 3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed. 4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. 5 So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? 6 And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty. 7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore. 8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. 9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. 10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. 11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? 13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided Him. 15 And He said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. 16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. (Luke 16:1-16)

Notice in Luke 16:1 above that the steward was accused to have wasted the rich man’s wealth (goods). This is done legally by Satan and also other spirits, but it can also be done by any of us who seek justice in the court of God. We have the ability to bring anything to Him through Jesus Christ, which can only be accomplished if we are willing to judge in the spirit (John 7:24) when we are aware of God’s riches, in any form, being killed, stolen, or destroyed from ourselves or others. Montana did not do this. They were silent to God when their wealth went into another’s hands. They wanted to get rich themselves and passively held on “to each his own.” Meanwhile, the wealth (grace) went into craftier hands and stays there still today. Montana forfeited its material wealth and now has only the shells of a time’s past displayed in a handful of houses and cathedrals, which is the picture of the corrupt religious systems that have confiscated much physical wealth as it strips the greater wealth of eternal calls.

The views of “more”

Montana’s topography, landscapes, and skies reflect God’s promise of evangelistic, pastoral, and prophetic “more”. There will always be more with God. And He satisfies. God speaks in His creation and the foolish who deny His handiwork shut their hearts and minds to the promise of more and put their hope and trust into themselves and their material treasures.

11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (The Revelation 4:11)

The solicitation to acknowledge the evangelistic “more”, what comprises the care and ornamentation of the pastoral “more”, and the “more” of our prophetic hope in His judgements are the endowments of Montana, which are also expressed in Psalm 96. Montana’s views shift our focus to its easel and invite us to look upon and enter God’s abundance. We look at the view now, but it expresses the eternal. One must stop and be still. One must be silent to hear the waters rejoice, to feel the stillness of God waiting for us to speak. And when the power of His Silence rests upon us we become still with Him; we are full because He Is. Montana, you will always give another picture. You will always give another mood. You will display your masterpiece today, with another just as far-reaching tomorrow. Those few who have feared God will carry the torch of what you, Montana, speak because they are not afraid to labour into the eternal. May you soon be rid of the stench from the carcasses of unbelief that attract the spiritual flies. May the weight of dead works and thoughts be burned from off your shoulders. May your ability to display the magnitude of His Silence be renewed.

Psalm 96

1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. 2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. 3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. 4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. 6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. 8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. 9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness [in the glorious sanctuary]: fear before him, all the earth. 10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 13 before the LORD: for He cometh, for He cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Strangers who acknowledge the headwaters

The headwaters of the Missouri River is in Montana. The headwaters speak of Montana’s prophetic endowment that can touch and expand into other states as God’s prophetic call is spoken and flows into America. Montana did not respond to its evangelistic, prophetic, and pastoral anointings even though it was given much materially and spiritually to perform what it was called to do. Montana said, “I am rich today, and I leave empty houses for my children tomorrow.” The hardened hearts of Montana obstructed and pushed aside those whom God sees as willing and who have operated and upheld Montana’s prophetic call. They have been reproached and designated to live “without the camp” as not fully accepted but are tolerated in the land. However, it is because of these few that Montana has not lost its call entirely. They will and have been giving the message of hope; and they will be honoured because they honour God in their hearts and actions. The few come from the spiritual tribe of Zebulun and also a few number from the tribe of Benjamin.

Zebulun is connected to the disciple/apostle Lebbaeus (Matthew 10:3), also called Thaddaeus (Matthew 10:3, Mark 3:18), and is most often called “Judas” in Luke 6:16, John 14:22, and Acts 1:13. Lebbaeus means “a man of heart” and Thaddaeus means “large hearted, courageous.” It is interesting how the name “Judas” is connected with things of the heart as we read of the betrayer Judas Iscariot.

2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him; (John 13:2)

The name Judas comes from the Hebrew word meaning “praise” or “He shall be praised.” Below is an interaction between Jesus and Judas, who did not betray Him.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words [apostolic words]: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. (John 14:21-24)

Love, the heart, the manifestation of Him to us, keeping His Words, these things culminate to the praising of God.

In addition to the few from the spiritual tribe of Zebulun who carry Montana’s anointing, a small number from the tribe of Benjamin will also rise up. These are the few who have lived in Montana unable to deny what is witnessed to them in the land, and have seen the waste of its spiritual call by their own lineage. They have been made to feel as though they are also strangers in the land because of their discontent and inability to submit to pulling the blind down on the Light of God. In their heart, they know the “more” and they seek its treasure.

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (Luke 12:32-34)

The nature of desire

God’s desire towards His inheritance is often beyond the bounds of speech and demands to be carried into the atmosphere by notes, the stringed instrument, and the singer. The anointed song written and performed by Johnny Flynn, "Detectorists" (2014), unveils the frailty of music having the ability to carry the question that breaks the barrier of eternity past and eternity future to ask today what one is willing to do to seek our treasure.

May we search for Him, our Treasure. May we understand what it means to desire Jehovah Shalom to be our inheritance. May we know Him, as He knows us. May we be One.
